About us

The drying of our dried herbs takes place in modern hot air plants. They are slowly and gently dried for between 24 and 36 hours at low temperatures (38°C average) in order to maintain their active ingredients
conserving both their colour and fragrance.
The herbs are immediately transported to the drying plants as soon as they are harvested; Agronatura's experts follow the whole drying process, constantly monitoring temperature and humidity; this is followed by the de-leafing process and then the successive refining processes, using mechanical and pneumatic systems.

The herbs are prepared and 'shredded'according to their various individual uses: for both loose and bagged teas, with various sized shreds and powders. They are available in bags of various weights from 3kg to 20kg and if requested also in vacuum packed bags. Over 30 varieties are available.
Agronatura has designed various lines of packaged herbs, both single and mixed, teas bags and for loose leaved herbal teas also in convenient vacuum packed "maxi" formats; dried herbs and spices in practical sachets for culinary use, and special mixes for invigorating relaxing and aromatic baths.
